Boarding begins at 8:00pm for an 8:30pm departure from New Farm Park River Hub. What is the date & time of the New Years cruise?
The Spirit of Mulgumpin New Years cruise departs at 8.30pm, and returns at approximately 12.30am.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your departure time to ensure a seamless check in and boarding process.
What is the departure location?
The New Year’s Eve cruise departs from New Farm Park River Hub, New Farm, Brisbane.
What do I need to bring?
Everything you need is supplied by Spirit of Mulgumpin – just bring yourself and dress appropriately for the conditions as we cruise the Brisbane River. As a fully licensed venue, BYO food and beverages are not permitted.
Please note, stilettos are not permitted onboard the vessel to prevent damage to Spirit of Mulgumpin’s floors.
Will the cruise operate in wet weather?
The custom-built catamaran has two spacious, aesthetic indoor locations; the main deck and second deck – both offering spectacular views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacular.
The cruise will operate in wet weather however, if we deem weather conditions to be unsafe, we will notify you ahead of your cruise.
Do you cater to Dietary Requests?
Our chef-prepared canapé menu will feature a range of food options including vegetarian, and vegan items.
Our onboard bar also features a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
What food & drinks are available on the New Year's Eve cruise?
The Spirit of Mulgumpin New Year’s Eve cruise will include a delicious spread of chef-prepared canapé items while the stocked onboard bar will feature a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Do you offer coach transfers to my hotel?
Coach transfers are not available for the New Year’s Eve cruise.
What time is the fireworks?
Brisbane’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks display begins at midnight – with Spirit of Mulgumpin giving you a front-row seat to the action.
Can I bring children?
The Spirit of Mulgumpin New Year’s Eve cruise is an R18+ event only.
Is Spirit of Mulgumpin wheelchair accessible?
The main deck of Spirit of Mulgumpin is wheelchair accessible; however, we kindly ask that you inform us at the time of booking so we can best accommodate your needs. Please contact our reservations team on (07) 3153 1069. There is also an accessible toilet on the main deck.
Please note, the mid and top-decks are not wheelchair accessible.
